Functional Medicine

  • Part-Time | 3–4 Days Per Week, Monday–Thursday

  • Approximately 24–32 Hours Per Week

  • Pay: Starting at $19–$23 per hour, based on experience

  • Anticipated Training and Start Date: September–October 2026

About the Role

Valley Vital Medicine is seeking an extremely detail-oriented, dependable and people-focused Clinical Technician to join our functional medicine team.


This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in accuracy, follows processes carefully and creates a warm, comfortable experience for every client. Because this position involves client care, documentation and specialized equipment, strong attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare clients for scheduled therapies and clearly explain treatment processes
  • Obtain and accurately document vital signs and treatment information
  • Administer services such as HOCATT, IASIS-MC, BioEnergy testing, PEMF and other functional medicine therapies
  • Monitor clients during treatments and communicate concerns to the nursing team
  • Maintain accurate records in the electronic medical record
  • Clean, maintain, calibrate and troubleshoot clinical equipment
  • Complete required daily, weekly and monthly equipment maintenance
  • Assist nurses and other clinical team members as needed
  • Help maintain treatment rooms, clinical supplies, laundry and inventory
  • Provide a welcoming, supportive and professional client experience

  • Comfort learning and operating specialized medical and wellness equipment
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a clinical team
  • Previous healthcare, wellness, medical assistant, patient care or clinical technician experience preferred
  • Associate degree or related healthcare education preferred
  • Current BLS certification or willingness to obtain
  • Experience using an electronic medical record system preferred
  • Commitment to client confidentiality, HIPAA and infection-control standards


Training on Valley Vital Medicine’s specialized therapies and equipment will be provided.

Schedule and Benefits
  • Three or four consistent workdays per week, Monday through Thursday
  • Clinic hours are generally 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
